PBS Fort Wayne is proud to announce the premiere of The 260, a new weekly television talk magazine celebrating the people, culture, issues, and conversations that define Northeast Indiana
Hosted by PBS Fort Wayne President & CEO Ed Leon, The 260 is an engaging half-hour program designed to keep viewers connected to the stories shaping life across the region. From current events and community issues to food, entertainment, local personalities, and cultural happenings, the show offers a fresh and intelligent look at what matters most.
“The 260 is about capturing the essence of Northeast Indiana—the people, the issues, the traditions, and the innovation that make this region such a remarkable place to call home,” said Ed Leon, President & CEO of PBS Fort Wayne and host of the series. “Our goal is to create a show that reflects the heartbeat of our communities while bringing viewers into conversations that inform, inspire, and connect us.”
Named after Northeast Indiana’s iconic area code, The 260 embraces the spirit of the region by showcasing the stories and voices that often define daily life but don’t always receive sustained attention. Each episode will feature lively studio conversations, insider perspectives, and compelling local stories.
The premiere episode airing June 19th at 7:30pm will feature the Superintendent of Fort Wayne Community Schools, Mark Daniel, discussing the successes and challenges of the recently completed school year, and the life journey of Aisha Diss, whose recovery has led her on a path to serve others via her Project.ME. Other planned segments will highlight local history, social initiatives, unique businesses, and services available to area residents. The series aims to become a trusted destination for viewers who want to stay informed and engaged in their communities.
The 260 will air weekly. Episodes will also be available through PBS Fort Wayne’s digital platforms.
