PBS FORT WAYNE—ASK THIS OLD HOUSE 25th ANNIVERSARY INSTAGRAM CELEBRATION OFFICIAL RULES
1. PROMOTION PERIOD
The PBS Fort Wayne Ask This Old House Instagram Promotion (the “Promotion”) begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time on September 28, 2026, and ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on October 15, 2026 (the “Promotion Period”).
2. ELIGIBILITY
The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and reside within the PBS Fort Wayne viewing area.
Employees, officers, directors, representatives, and agents of PBS Fort Wayne, its affiliates, promotional partners, and their immediate family members or members of the same household may be ineligible to participate.
PBS Fort Wayne reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant or potential winner.
3. HOW TO ENTER
To enter, during the Promotion Period, an eligible participant must:
- Post an original entry publicly on Instagram featuring or describing their favorite Ask This Old House call, tip, project, or moment and explain why it is meaningful, useful, or memorable to them.
- Tag the official PBS Fort Wayne Instagram account (@pbsfortwayne) in the post.
- Include the hashtag #AskTOH25 in the post.
- Follow both @pbsfortwayne and @asktoh on Instagram at the time of entry and throughout the winner-selection process.
Entries must be posted publicly on Instagram during the Promotion Period to be eligible.
One entry per person will be considered for purposes of winner selection; however, participants may post multiple times during the Promotion Period.
Entries that are private, incomplete, submitted outside the Promotion Period, do not include the required tag or hashtag, or otherwise fail to comply with these Official Rules may be disqualified.
4. CONTENT REQUIREMENTS
Each entry must be the entrant’s original content and must not violate or infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other rights of any third party.
Entries must not contain unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate material.
PBS Fort Wayne reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Official Rules or that contains content deemed inappropriate for the Promotion.
5. WINNER SELECTION
Three (3) winners will be selected by PBS Fort Wayne following the conclusion of the Promotion Period.
Winners will not be selected through a random drawing. originality, and personal story conveyed through the entry, as determined by PBS Fort Wayne.
All decisions regarding the selection of winners are final, subject to applicable law.
Potential winners will be contacted through Instagram and/or the contact information associated with their entry. If a potential winner cannot be reached, fails to respond within the 24 hour time period specified by PBS Fort Wayne, is determined to be ineligible, or does not comply with these Official Rules, an alternate winner may be selected.
6. PRIZES
Three (3) winners will each receive an Ask This Old House prize pack, consisting of:
- One (1) Ask This Old House cap
- One (1) Ask This Old House T-shirt
- One (1) Ask This Old House cast photo
Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted, exchanged, or redeemed for cash, except at the sole discretion of PBS Fort Wayne or as required by law.
PBS Fort Wayne is not responsible for lost, damaged, delayed, or undeliverable prizes following shipment or delivery.
7. PUBLICITY AND CONTENT RIGHTS
By entering the Promotion, each entrant grants PBS Fort Wayne, Ask This Old House, and PBS permission to re-share, repost, reproduce, display, and otherwise use the entrant's submitted post and related content, including the entrant's Instagram username and any name, image, likeness, or other identifying information voluntarily included in the entry, for promotional, marketing, and editorial purposes related to the Promotion, Ask This Old House, PBS Fort Wayne, and PBS.
Where reasonably practicable, submitted content will be credited to the original creator.
Entrants understand that they retain ownership of their original content, subject to the permissions granted above.
8. GENERAL CONDITIONS
By participating, entrants agree to comply with these Official Rules and all decisions made by PBS Fort Wayne concerning the Promotion.
PBS Fort Wayne, its affiliates, promotional partners, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, misdirected, or technically compromised entries; technical failures; internet or network interruptions; or other circumstances beyond their reasonable control that may affect participation in the Promotion.
PBS Fort Wayne reserves the right to disqualify any individual who attempts to interfere with the operation of the Promotion or violates these Official Rules.
9. INSTAGRAM DISCLAIMER
This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.
By participating in this Promotion, entrants release Instagram from any responsibility or liability related to the Promotion.
10. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
No purchase is necessary; anyone may enter. Void where prohibited by law.
11. SPONSOR
The Promotion is sponsored and administered by PBS Fort Wayne.
PBS Fort Wayne is responsible for administering the Promotion, including accepting and reviewing entries, selecting potential winners, notifying winners, and coordinating prize delivery in accordance with these Official Rules and applicable laws.
12. ACCEPTANCE OF RULES
Participation in the Promotion constitutes the entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and to PBS Fort Wayne's decisions, which are final and binding with respect to matters relating to the Promotion, subject to applicable law.
