Series Premiere! Aired Thursday, August 27, 2026

Pet Life is a live, 30-minute call-in television show with a mission to help pet owners in the northeast Indiana region better understand and care for their animals. Hosted by Fort Wayne’s Emilie Henry, each episode will feature local experts such as veterinarians, animal behaviorists, trainers, and rescue advocates and others who will share their expertise and advice and answer viewer questions live on the air.

During this show, viewers are encouraged to take part in each episode’s discussions by calling the PBS Fort Wayne Studio at 969-2720, or texting their questions during the program to 969-2730.

Along with each week’s topical discussion with a local expert, additional segments on the show will feature short educational segments covering a variety of subjects such as seasonal pet care, nutrition, safety and more. Each week’s show will also feature an "Adoption Spotlight" segment featuring a local animal shelter or rescue organization and an animal in need of a loving home.

Pet Life joins The 260 as PBS Fort Wayne’s latest weekly series. Both of these programs are part of a weekly lineup of locally produced programming on PBS Fort Wayne’s main channel, 39.1, that includes Matters of the Mind With Dr. Jay Fawver (Mondays, 7:30 p.m.); HealthLine (Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m.) and Life Ahead (Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m.).
